Yoga Asana
Satyananda Yoga Tradition

Yoga Therapy &
Nidra

Beyond physical exercise. A scientifically validated system for nervous system regulation and deep subconscious release.

Awareness over Contortion

My approach stems from the **Bihar School of Yoga** (Satyananda Yoga), a tradition that emphasizes *Sakshi Bhav* (Witness Consciousness) over physical gymnastics.

As a certified instructor (2024) and practitioner of **Tatwa Shuddhi**, I guide you through practices that purify the elements within the body. We use Asana to stabilize the physical frame, Pranayama to balance the energy body, and Meditation to quiet the mind.

Pawanmuktasana

Joint-freeing series to release energy blocks.

Prana Vidya

Knowledge and control of vital life force.

Deep Rest

The Science of Yoga Nidra

Yoga Nidra ("Psychic Sleep") is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. In modern terms, it is **Non-Sleep Deep Rest (NSDR)**.

It works by systematically rotating awareness through the body, engaging the motor homunculus in the cerebral cortex. This induces Delta brain waves while you remain awake, allowing for profound subconscious reprogramming and release of deep-seated trauma (Samskaras).

"One hour of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to four hours of conventional sleep."

Breathwork

Pranayama & The Vagus Nerve

Pranayama is not just "breathing exercises." It is the manipulation of the autonomic nervous system. By extending the exhalation (as in Nadi Shodhana or Bhramari), we stimulate the Vagus Nerve.

This shifts your biology from a Sympathetic (Fight/Flight) state to a Parasympathetic (Rest/Digest) state instantly. I combine these ancient techniques with my Neurobiology background to treat anxiety, insomnia, and dysregulated nervous systems.
