आयुर्वेद

Apaurusheya Vidya

The Science
of Life

Ayurveda is not merely a system of medicine; it is the art of living in harmony with the laws of nature. It teaches us that we are a microcosm of the universe.

Charaka Samhita, Sutrasthana 1.41

हिताहितं सुखं दुःखं आयुस्तस्य हिताहितम् ।
मानं च तच्च यत्रोक्तं आयुर्वेदः स उच्यते ॥

(Hitāhitaṃ sukhaṃ duḥkhaṃ āyustasya hitāhitam |
Mānaṃ ca tacca yatroktaṃ āyurvedaḥ sa ucyate ||)

"Ayurveda is that which deals with good, bad, happy, and unhappy life, its promoters and non-promoters, measure and nature."

The Goal: Swasthya

Health in Ayurveda is not just the absence of disease. It is a state of spiritual, mental, and physiological radiance. As defined by Sushruta:

समदोषः समाग्निश्च समधातुमलक्रियः ।
प्रसन्नात्मेन्द्रियमनाः स्वस्थ इत्यभिधीयते ॥

"One whose Doshas (humors), Agni (digestive fire), Dhatus (tissues), and Malas (wastes) are balanced, and whose Soul, Senses, and Mind are pleasant, is considered Healthy."

Psychology & Ayurveda

Satvavajaya Chikitsa

"धीधैर्यात्मादि विज्ञानं मनोदोषौषधं परम् ।"

(Intelligence, patience, and self-knowledge are the supreme medicines for the mind.)

Founded by Harsh Ranjan (Psychology Hons. & Ayurveda Bio), Samarpan uniquely integrates modern psychotherapy with Ayurvedic psychology (*Manas Shastra*).
